1. Acceptance and scope

These Terms apply to radioterapie.eu, the RT Navigator installable application, Clinical Navigation Tools, educational content, calculators, reports, courses and related services. By using the service, the user agrees to these Terms. If the user does not agree, the service should not be used.

2. Intended users and present purpose

The service is designed primarily for qualified physicians, residents and other appropriately trained oncology professionals. It provides educational material, evidence navigation, structured clinical reasoning, calculation support and preparation of non-authoritative clinical or tumour-board summaries.

Important: The current service is not CE-marked as a medical device and must not be used as the sole or autonomous basis for diagnosis, prescription, treatment selection, dose delivery, patient monitoring or any other clinical decision.

3. Professional judgement and independent verification

The tools do not replace clinical examination, multidisciplinary review, institutional procedures, official product information, current guidelines, professional judgement or consultation with the responsible specialists. The user remains responsible for verifying the completeness and accuracy of inputs and for independently checking every output before any clinical use.

Calculations must be checked with an independent validated method. Model assumptions, units, dose-volume definitions, fractionation effects, organ recovery, cumulative-dose methods and high-dose extrapolations may be clinically decisive and may not be valid in every situation.

4. Evidence, dates and national contexts

Content represents a versioned evidence snapshot rather than an exhaustive statement of all available knowledge. Guidelines and regulatory information may change after the displayed review date. National or centre-specific overlays describe identified sources and do not establish legal availability, funding, reimbursement, capacity or superiority. Users must consult the current official source and local policy.

The Guideline Update Radar provides surveillance signals. A newly detected publication does not automatically modify any Navigator recommendation. It must first be appraised and incorporated through the project’s review and release process.

5. Missing data and output interpretation

Outputs depend on the information entered and on the limits of encoded rules. Unknown, missing, ambiguous or incorrectly entered data can materially alter the result. A displayed option does not mean that the patient is eligible, that the treatment is available, or that other reasonable options do not exist. “Not computed” or “not covered” never means agreement or absence of a recommendation.

6. Emergencies and direct patient use

The service is not designed for emergencies and does not provide emergency or direct-to-patient medical care. Patients and members of the public should seek advice from a qualified clinician who knows the individual case.

7. Confidentiality and permitted data

Current clinical case processing is local to the user’s browser/device. Users must nevertheless comply with professional secrecy, institutional policy and applicable data-protection law. Identifiable patient information must not be entered into contact, email, subscription, analytics or other fields that transmit information to the website.

8. Permitted use

Subject to these Terms, users may access the service for personal professional learning, teaching, internal case preparation and other lawful purposes consistent with the displayed intended use. Generated summaries must be reviewed, corrected where necessary and clearly identified as non-authoritative working material before inclusion in any clinical record or presentation.

9. Prohibited use

Except where mandatory law expressly permits otherwise, users must not:

  •  copy, republish, sell, sublicense or distribute substantial parts of the software, content or structured evidence base;
  •  systematically scrape, crawl, harvest or reconstruct the evidence database or decision logic;
  •  circumvent access, licence, integrity or security controls;
  •  misrepresent outputs as certification, a prescription, a guaranteed outcome or an official recommendation of a cited organization;
  •  use the service unlawfully, to compromise security, or to upload malicious content; or
  •  remove ownership, source, safety, version or attribution notices.

10. External sources and links

External links are supplied for source verification and convenience. radioterapie.eu does not control third-party availability, content, privacy practices or subsequent changes. The user must verify that the linked version is current and applicable.

11. Availability, changes and corrections

The publisher may correct, update, suspend or withdraw content and functions. Reasonable efforts are made to preserve version transparency, but uninterrupted availability and complete freedom from error cannot be guaranteed. Users should report suspected errors through the Contact page and should stop relying on a questionable output until it has been independently resolved.

12. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Subject to those mandatory rules, the service is supplied as an evolving professional educational and evidence-navigation resource. The publisher is not responsible for a clinical decision made without the independent verification, professional judgement and institutional controls required by these Terms.

13. Intellectual property

Ownership and third-party rights are described in the Legal Notice. No transfer of intellectual-property rights occurs through access to the service. Any future paid plan grants only the licence expressly described in the applicable subscription or institutional agreement.

14. Applicable law and contact

These Terms are governed by French law, without depriving users of mandatory protections applicable in their jurisdiction. Any dispute should first be raised with doc.alexandru@outlook.fr so that an appropriate resolution can be attempted. Future consumer or institutional sales will be governed by separate Terms of Sale or subscription terms.
